Men's Corner: What Your Beard Says About You

One of my personal fave bloggers is Joanna from A Cup Of Jo. Her husband recently wrote an article for the NY Times which totally struck a cord with me. I am not sure how I feel about beards and really if they are trendy or just plain lame. My father has a beard and on the two occasions that he has shaved it off I refused to see him (lets just say it was a week!). I just can't look at him without it because he does not look like my dad and I'm rather puzzled. My partner does not have a beard and I am quite grateful (positive: not having his poky hairs in my nostrils while kissing). So then I begun to wonder, are beards trendy (think Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling YUM YUM, Jake Gyllenhaal) or are they lame (think Bob Dylan)?? I think Alex wrote a wonderful article from a man's perspective which made me think that the beard represents something deeper than just a lazy man. Check it out here & let me know what you think xx
