Just a quick note in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the International Women's Day. The day was commemorated for the first time on 19 March 1911 in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland, following its establishment during the Socialist International meeting the prior year. More than one million women and men attended rallies on that first commemoration. The 2011 theme is equal access to education, training and science and technology: Pathway to decent work for women. Please see the campaign below to help Asian women in business. In celebration I am attending a luncheon with the best selling author Di Morrisey (and my best friend - of course!). Today lets celebrate the lives of women all around the world, all the mothers, daughters and wonderful friends! xxx
