Weddings: Photography Poses For Brides

How should you pose on your big day and what pictures will you like to see in your album? Well, this is quite personal however I can offer 3 pieces of advice 1) collect your poses - e.g. from magazines, online or from other brides you have seen 2) be comfortable with whatever you are doing cause otherwise it will look awkward and 3) talk to your photographer- be very clear about what kind of image you are trying to portray e.g. you want a more artistic, funny, classic, elegant look (and so forth) so that he can set up the scene and give you pointers. Here are a few poses and images that I really love :) Hope this helps!

P.S. Here a handy website regarding wedding photography

The shoes - I love this pose because it also implies kissing :)

Props- Using props to spell out words and create artistic pics

Leaving or entering the room - I love the idea of the father seeing the bride for the first time

The Dress- use the dress if it has certain details or features (love this elegant starring into the distance look)

Again- love the dress and it doesn't have to be front on - you won't see the back too many times but you should have a pic of it for memory :)

Ok so I totally love this one :) Need a nice kissing pic

I adore this- resting her head on his heart...oh I die!

Don't forget to show off your wedding band/ engagement ring !!

Getting ready pics- take the time to smell the flowers :)

First looks/hide and seek - oh this is a MUST!!! The bride and groom do not see each other but they have that last touch before she walks down the isle :) Love, love, love <3
